Willowmore Kicks-Off Sig-WAV gateway
We are currently in Barcelona, Spain for Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 and we have exciting news to share. Willowmore officially kicks-off its revolutionary Sig-WAV gateway that combines low power wide area networks and low power short range network in one PCBA.
... this is a creative great idea and I have never seen this before, definitely going to support Willowmore after the launch of Sig-WAV!

High power consumption has always been a problem in traditional 2G/3G/4G gateways, as well as providing limited coverage. Similar to our mobile phones on 3G or 4G networks, batteries drains very quickly making it difficult to produce a gateway that is energy efficient yet covering a wide area.
In contrast, with the Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN), Willowmore’s Sig-WAV gateway will be able to communicate effectively and economically with devices that have traditionally not been feasible. In summary, Sig-WAV’s LPWAN gateway covers a wider range with significantly lesser energy consumption. The batteries will be able to run for multiple years without any need for charging*. There is currently no gateway like this in the market.
From the current perspective, most businesses have no visibility or data on what is happening at their sites. These is mostly due to sites being too remotely located and maintenance work are not being carried out as often as it should be. Willowmore’s solution is to create a Smart Eco-system perfect for both industrial and consumer use. By combining the Sig-WAV with our keyless smart-locks and bluetooth sensors of myriad capabilities, we will be able to provide real-time data, valuable insights, and instant alerts to help businesses monitor remote assets.
